Green Building In Singapore

City Square mall is an example of a Green Building in Singapore. It is the first mall to be integrated with an urban park. Also known as City Green, the park is like a green carpet laid out in front of the mall to welcome visitors. City Square Mall has designated parking areas for both, hybrid and electric cars. The lights and escalators aren't a drain on power because of auto lighting and slow down features. Condensate water from the air conditioning systems is recycled and is enough to save water for 2 Olympic sized swimming pools per annum. Another interesting thing about City Square Mall is that on rainy days, sensors help to ensure that the landscaped greenery isn't watered therefore water is not wasted. More cooling coils are used in the air-conditioning systems to treat air which is to better control indoor humidity. This way, we can save the earth. Therefore, City Square Mall is an example of a Green Building in Singapore.
